Forever 21 - Part 2

yipee! i was able to visit forever 21 in megamall and i had so much fun looking through all the racks and shelves, amidst all the people (women!!!) who want to get hold of their very own forever 21 piece :)

see the people in front of the shop? tee hee!!!

see the loooooong line? it's like a long snake actually. reminded me of the line in the movie house during the opening of eclipse ;)

don't forget to get your forever 21 mesh bag (near the counter - active section) where you can put all the clothes that you want to purchase. of course, you have to return this after shopping :)

the store is really big. actually i was going around and around and around and can't seem to remember if i had been to that area already or not. haha! lots of nice clothes!!! i noticed that patterns are usually florals - pretty, pretty. i'm sure you can see what i mean even if the pics are blurred :)

i like their sandals - mostly gladiators - i was going to get the turquoise one but unfortunately no more size for me.

this blouse is also very nice. i'm glad that there's one in mysize :)

i wanted to get this sheer blouse, a steal for only P598 but since i'm on a budget, i decided to let go and get it some other time....hmmm....

it's like a one-stop shop actually...aside from shoes and clothes, there are also accessories...lots and lots of accessories!!!! you have to check their clips and hair-pieces. really nice ;)

most of what i got came from the "active section" - mostly plain shirts and leggings.

this gray leggings has a tiny button detail and very affordable at P185 each.

i also got myself white tank top, blue polka dot tank with lace detail and a basic yellow shirt. i love who affordable their basic shirts are. price starts at P185 each!!

this unicorn shirt is l-o-v-e! just had to buy it ;)

as i've said, i do have a budget for this spree and guess what???? i got 7 pcs for less than two thousand:) i still got enough change for me to eat my favorite chicken rice in orchard road restaurant. love saturaday!!! :)

Forever 21

i have read in different blogs that i follow about the forever 21 opening in megamall last july 2. i was drooling over their fashion finds that's why i've decided to spend my saturday afternoon in megamall :)

i checked forever 21 website and saw some lovely pieces which i hope are available in their megamall store.

i hope i'll score some great finds although not too much. haha! i have a budget ;) i'll post later details about my forever 21 adventure :)

Eclipse Fever

i love eclipse more than the other books in the twilight saga. i don't know why but i find this book the funniest especially the non-stop bickering between jacob and edward.

i watched the movie version on the first day with friends. we got an exclusive pass wherein we didn't have to line and "hope" that we'll get good seats (thanks jane!)

well, the movie was just ok for me. i find the book version better than the movie.

i noticed that bella has more make-up now and edward gained weight compared to when i saw him in new moon. well, jacob's body is still to die-for :) and i don't know if you noticed but the one who played victoria (bryce howard) in this movie is not the same as with the last.

i love dakota fanning as jane and of course my favorites alice and emmet! :)

there were a few laugh-out-loud scenes just like when the 3 of them were on top of the mountain. bella felt cold and jacob had to keep her warm - edward was furious!!! "all i know is that i'm hotter than you" - jacob :)

checkout "riley" the leader of the new-born army played by xavier samuel. cute guy but still a die-hard edward fan. nothing will change that. haha!!!!

looking forward to the last installment - breaking dawn :)

Cherry Mobile

i got my very own cherry mobile p1 yesterday and i've been using it more than my high-end phones. it's a basic call and text phone with only 6 ring tones to choose from! :) i'm having a hard time texting using my other phones when in public because i have to use both hands (touch-screen). i wanted a phone that is easy on the budget, cute and compact plus of course user-friendly.

i got the purple color. it's really small and cute. can actually fit inside my coin purse :) my sister said that it looks like a calculator. but i really don't mind because it's super handy and it served its purpose.

for only P999 you can have your very own cherry mobile p1 :)

twisted peppermint

i'm so loving this lotion now. it's from bath and body works. it smells 100% like candy cane!!! the scent is gorgeous and gives u the feeling of a very jolly christmas :)

this was a pasalubong from the states. i hope it's available in the philippines as well.

i like to try the cologne too...hmmm....love it!!!!! :)

karate kid - past and present :)

i've seen both versions.  jaden's version has more heart - made me cry more; but ralph's killer move during the final fight (2 arms & 1 leg up like an eagle) was more dramatic.

jackie chan vs pat morita? hmmm...i love them both!:)

ralph macchio vs jaden smith? all i can say is that jayden is a STAR.  no doubt. will smith must be so proud.

halo-halo

i can feel that the rainy season is here and one thing that i will surely miss is eating halo-halo.  this is one of the staple food during summer and now that the rain months are here, i won't be seeing halo-halo in the streets anymore yes! you heard it right. i love halo-halo from the streets - more  than the ones in restaurants (except of course the halo-halo from razon's) i like my halo-halo to have banana, pinipig, colored sago, kaong, beans and macapuno topped with leche flan:)

this halo-halo was served to us in batangas...it's one of the halo-halo from the kanto - when we stopped over at my co-teacher's place :)

co-teacher, ms sheryll can't seem to wait...hahah! i super love this pic :)

'til next summer! ;)

Next...

i was inspired by these flicker photos.  i will make my own version in the next few days....i can't wait to cut and sew again! :)

Goodbye my dear Puma

i am not really a rubber shoes fan.  my mom seldom bought rubber shoes for me back then that's why i never got used to wearing a pair.  so believe me when i say that apart from my small collection of chucks, i only have 2 pairs of rubber shoes - one is nike which i used only thrice since i bought it 4 years ago; and the other is my super, ultra, soft puma which was a christmas gift from a dear friend 6 years ago. yup! 6 years and i'm proud to say that it lasted this long :)

i've worn it so many times. it's really soft, fits my feet perfectly, super light and it looks so slim.  i love the chocolate brown color accented with white and cream.

anyway, when i checked it today i noticed that the soles are coming off and the sides are peeling already.  i felt a bit sad but after thinking about what my puma and  i have been through all these years...phew!  i realized that it was so "sulit" :)

it still looks okay really but if you examine the sides you'll see that parts are broken...

i will surely miss my puma! hope i can find another perfect pair that will last not only 6 years but more ::)

Kamiseta

i like visiting kamiseta shops.  i like the girly feel inside their stores, very clean and crisp :)

i read in one of the blogs that kamiseta has something new - the liberty collection...Liberty of London set the bar for luxury shopping since 1875.  aside from it being a textile and fabric giant, it is the flagship store for all the important labels in the fashion industry.  from what i've read, they partnered with our very own kamiseta to come up with a limited editioncollection that all the filipinos will love :)

collection showed ruffles, laces, delicate floral patterns which are really the signature style of kamiseta.

the price for this collection is a bit higher than the usual kamiseta clothing.  when i checked the items in this collection, their price is higher by a thousand but quite reasonable considering that it is a collaboration with a foreign company :)
